United Spiral Pipe Dedication Ceremony
November 3, 2009United Spiral Pipe held their formal dedication ceremony on November 2nd, 2009 for their spiral welded steel pipe facility in Pittsburg, California. Local dignitaries and the presidents of US Steel, POSCO, and Seah were present for the event. Project Management
March 9, 2009As a segment in Ramsey Architectural Group’s continuing education and professional development series, the Project Managers will be studying and making application for their Project Management Professional [PMP] certification through the Project Management Institute.
All too often firms provide a moniker or position title acquired through experience with minimal formal training in project management systems. RAG’s goal is to tailor the PMP systems to the architectural professsion providing a more structured enviroment improving the success of the projects.
LEED | ISO 14001 | Carbon Credits
February 24, 2009In application to industrial projects, the ISO 14001 standards may be the most universal application. However, it lacks the prescriptive elements of LEED certification. Upcoming on the horizon is the prospect of carbon credits for the project and the Client’s ability to hold or sell the same. More discussion is requested.
Is the motive for industry to secure LEED certification of their new facilities a genuine or a marketing effort?
